We believe in the old adage of "the stone chooses its wearer" as the words to describe the experience of being drawn to a gemstone. The best decision is to accept the stone's invitation.
Founded in 2011, we are celebrating 15 years of cultivating a jewel box of fine gemstones and exquisite jewellery. Heralding over a combined 35 years of experience, we have discerning eyes for searching for beautiful stones.
We are continually expanding our love of gemmology through research mandates, and being up-to-date with the latest scientific modalities. We are often called upon for our opinions on appraisals, auction estimates, and industry knowledge.
Headquartered in Toronto, we have and continue to create our collection by travelling the world’s less travelled roads. Meeting new people, hearing their stories, and feeling Mother Earth’s creations is our modus operandi.

Abby C. - Founding Partner
With a colourful career in jewellery design, Abby has a clear vision: to grow our collection with as many interesting gemstones as possible. An expert in Jadeite Jade and Nephrite Jade, Abby comes from a family that garnered the title of the premier diamond and rough emerald dealers in South Asia. He is a graduate of The Gemological Institute of America.
Katie S. - Partner, President
At the helm of our leadership, Katie brings her love of precious stones from three generations. Her family were turquoise merchants in West Asia before moving to Toronto. Katie is a graduate of The Gemological Institute of America, and holds a PhD in Environmental Applied Science and Management from Toronto Metropolitan University.
Robin L. - Vice President
Robin lives in a world of gems. Having travelled immensely around the globe, Robin has strengthened our relationships with mines and carvers. Robin is a graduate of The Gemological Institute of America, and holds a Master's degree in Environmental Applied Science and Management from Toronto Metropolitan University. Fun fact: Robin and Katie sat next to each other on the first day of their first class.
Yingtao L. - Director of Liaison
His love and passion for rare gemstone antiquities are unmatched. Yingtao has a gift of listening to the heartbeat of a stone. He comes with a highly developed emotional quotient which has made him the bridge between people and gemstones. He is a graduate of The Gemological Institute of America.
